Of all the things you described you are showing that you are all of them as well. So I guess that makes you a hypocrite then. Sorry if that ticks you off but if you were honest with yourself you would see that and work on yourself instead of condemning others with whose opinions and beliefs you do not believe in. Someone may want to share their belief with you but that in no way is cramming anything down your throat. it's like the recommendation to a movie, just cuz someone says to go and see it doesn't mean you have to. same concept.

It makes me sad.

I am personally disappointed in all the Christians that don't live as Christ instructs us to. I can see how, depending on who you meet, you would view all Christians as stuck up, mean, rude, etc.

You have to remember, though, that Christians are human too. They make mistakes and sin all the time, even though they are not supposed to. I know I have failed many times at trying to be perfect. But that's not what being a Christian is about.

I will pray for you. I hope that one day you will meet a Christian that you can stand, and even like. Maybe he/she can show you a different side of Christianity that is real and fulfilling.

Now I have a question for you: what do you think about the fact that God still loves you and wants you to know him?

most of the people that just responded to this question proved why the person doesn't like Christians. I'm Catholic, and most other "christian" religions in my own town have a hatred for my church because they don't understand us. Most Christians are self-righteous ignorant people that need to learn that just because they have read the bible 10000 times doesn't make them any better then the atheist that's was raised in a home without religion, or a Muslim that has never been exposed to Christianity...true Christians shouldn't shrug it off and say "o well i don't care ill pray for you"....I'm sure that makes the person feel better. A true christian would try to right the wrongs of their brothers not widen the gap between the "saved" and the alleged unsaved or whatever judgmental title you give them.

Actually, its not that you can't stand Christians. Its that you can't stand the ones that are arrogant, rude, and mean...right? What about an Athiest that was mean, rude, and arrogant? I think that by your logic you associate Christians with cruelty, rudeness, and arrogance.

thats the thing is true Christians really aren't that way. Granted I DEFINITELY agree that there are a good number who claim to represent us, but they have it so far from the truth. The extremist groups think in order to be a Christian, you have to do EXACTLY as they say. They know the correct translation of the bible and the rest of us aren't actually Christian, unless we follow them. I believe the only requirement is to Believe in Christ. If those so called Christians would think about it before they opened their mouths, they'd remember CHRIST WAS A JEW!!, I for one am not willing to risk telling him, he was wrong! lol. Please don't judge all of us, from a small group, who claim to be the Majority.

I am not arrogant, I am humble, I am not mean, I am kind, I am not ignorant, God's teaching gave me insight. You ask I will try to answer, but don't accuse everyone one that loves God of these things, for I do not accuse atheist nor, agnostic people of this those things. I am not the judge, God is.

As a christian, I can say that God told us that people would hate us for our beliefs, and I thank you very much for proving again that God's word is true.

Aside from that, however, I hope that you will someday find that a true belief in a triune God is the only way to find salvation. You can find salvation without having to "like" christians. As long as you love God.

first part of your question, what do i think about the fact that you can't stand christians? i don't think about it. you have the right to think whatever you want. second part, the gratuitous unsubstantiated and unsupported rant that does nothing but spit vitriolic bile into the world when none was required? i'm sorry you have issue with so many people you don't know. i'd say it's not a loss for them.
