I have a cousin who's mom pays absolutly no attention to her. For example, she is flying home tonight, but her flight is delayed an hour and a half. She calls her mom, and she coomplains about how she's not going to get enough sleep for work tommorow. So the cousin says, we'll what am I supposed to do? Then the mom says, well I'm going out with my boyfriend to look at houses in another town, so what are you going to do about that? What can I do about this? Should I deal with the mother, or try to help my cousin?

Help your cousin. If she's an adult, then there is nothing wrong with the mother doing that. If she is below the age of 18 then the mother has some issues and should be reported

How old is your cousin? If she is over 18 she needs to grow up

If your cousin is a minor, her mother should be reported. There is no excuse for her behavior.
