Take him to a veterinarian NOW. A cat that doesn't eat for more than 2 days is at risk of developing hepatic lipadosis. Liver damage. He sounds like he has some sort of respiratory infection and may need antibiotics. Cats eat food that they can smell. If they have no sense of smell they probably won't eat. Clean his nose with a warm damp cloth to get it a bit clearer while waiting for your vet appt.

Has he been to the vets to complete his series of vaccinations and has been dewormed? Has he been checked for cat virus's like Feline leukemia and FIV? Hopefully he's had all this. It sounds like he has a respiratory virus. It has to run it's course just like our colds do. But, if he's not eating or drinking, he needs to go to the vet for fluids and antibiotics and medicine to help him breathe. These virus's can be very serious in kittens.

Take him to the vet and just get him checked out! I am sure he is due for shots anyway.
The best food I have found is called "Natural Balance" I also only feed my cats filtered water - better for their kidneys/bladder where cats seem to have the most problems.
Good luck!

Your cat has 1. an infection, perhaps from Feline Herpes virus, and needs medical assistance from a certified vet, not Yahoo! or 2. something lodged in his throat, and needs medical assistance from a certified vet, not Yahoo!
Get to a vet.
Now.

What the heck is wrong with you people on these boards? TAKE YOUR FREAKING CAT TO A VET, don't ask a bunch of people on a message board to diagnose him. That is too serious to be sitting on your computer asking people. COME ON, NOW.

Don't give him anything for food, take him to the vet. I HATE THESE QUESTIONS OF WHAT SHOULD I DO. The people who ask these questions are "TO CHEAP" to take there pets to the vet for proper treatment. Dont come crying to us when the cat dies!
