your question is too vague. A solar panel is a voltage generating device with no storage capability. You CANT charge it. In a solar system the batterys themselves are pretty much the voltage regulators.

Depending on the size of your solar panels, they may not produce enough current to overcharge a battery. If this is the case, just connect them and don't worry about it. What is the rated voltage and current of the solar panels and what voltage and capacity are the batteries?
