My son is 12, he just got his first girlfriend......(Hes soooo excited).......but, he needs help, I don't know how to help him. Ok, he asked me, "I really want to walk and hold her hand, how do I get her to hold my hand?"......I really don't know what to tell him, please help!

I hope the first thing u reminded him of was to always be a gentleman ???? ok, just tell him to test the waters by gently taking her hand, do not hold tight, just sorta take her fingers in his hand, then let HER decide if holding hands is ok.. she will either tug them away or take his hand. if she does not take his hand, tell him it is ok. maybe she is kinda shy, or maybe she does not want to appear forward to him..... tell him to just relax and let her decide...... The easiest way for him to get to hold her hand is to nicely ask her if he can hold her hand. If she wants him to do so, she will gladly say yes. Ahh, young love...those were the good old days! Just tell him to take it slow, it's got to be a spontaneous reaction by both parties. I'm sure if he is just himself everything will fall in place. Tell him he might try taking her to a roller skating rink where they heve couples skating. Good Luck

just ask her if he can hold her hand. it is that simple, girls like boys that are honest. if she says no then take his time and not hurry things
