My cat has a lot of acid and is now getting injections 3x a day of Tagamet and Centrine (pet drug to help with nausea. My vet said I can give him chicken broth.

You better call the Vet...If your poor cat is taking drugs and vomiting afterwards...he must have a problem with either the dosage or the drug.
Call today - don't delay!

If he's vomiting, you shouldn't really give him anything by mouth for several hours so his stomach can settle down. If he's not able to keep fluids down, your vet can give him SubQ fluids...under the skin to keep him hydrated. Then you won't have to worry about giving him anything by mouth until he is better.
