I think that a small portion of my hair has thinned out on the front because I wear ponytails daily... or It can be because I rarely eat. Can not eatting make your hair thinner? I usually only eat a meal a day with some snacks, I do not do it unpurpose, I can not help it. What can I take to make it grow thicker again? I naturally have thick hair... Biotin?

HEY ......you answered your own question....start EATING....and stop wearing your hair in the pony tail..it was putting stress on it. Also food is the best answer...no body can develop and keep going without the proper nutrition...you owe it to yourself to take care of your body...no one else is in charge but you......make up your mind that it's going to be a "birthday gift" to yourself to give yourself another chance at a healthy life or you will end up in the doctor's office and who wants to go there.....you don't have to eat large meals..start out with the basic food groups..eat something from each one....make it colorful and interesting, give yourself fiber and texture....it's like making a painting you don't use the same colors and same brushstrokes...variety is the spice of life......so get with it Gal you are worth it......Good luck....Mama J.

Dietary deficiencies are a big factor to hair and nail growth especially low fat diets. Also the ponytails that you are wearing daily are not good neither. Are you using rubberbands or soft ponytail holders? Regular rubberbands will cause breakage. The everyday pulling and tightness of the ponytail causes the hair root to weaken which could result in permanent hair loss. Start eating better or take dietary supplements and get a hairstyle that is easy for you to work with so that you don't have to pull it back everyday.

Hi I see your only eatting once a day and snacking with it.
Try eatting small meals like three times a day and make them good and nutritious ones.
Meat, Veggies, fruit.
Protein will help with your hair also.
Maybe a protein drink a day.
See ya good luck
