Most elderly people have certain dietary requirements,or at least they think so.Fresh fruit salad is a must.Grilled chicken breasts and maybe some brisket, sliced thin.Steamed mixed veggies, like brocolli, cauliflower and zuchinni, toss with a little fresh lemon juice andsome fresh herbs like basil and/or dill.Mashed potatoes using chicken broth instead of cream or milk.Serve with a couple of sauces on the side, like b.bq. and honey mustard for the chicken.Fruit pie for dessert.and don't forget the coffee.Good luck.....p.s. make the presentation a pretty one, older people remember a slower, gentiler time of life when it meant something to do those little added extas, like flower and/or fruit garnishes.
