No God's will many times is not the easy choice or the accepted choice. Do not base this on what others feel. Pray, and ask God and He and He alone will show you or lead you to what He wants. You will know and feel the answer.
Peace and Prayers,

God does speak through people... but sometimes people speak from people. Take the things people said to Job in the Bible for instance. They said what they thought which was not God. Keep praying and try to pay attention to any signs you think He might send you. Dont forget that the Holy Spirit lives in our hearts. He is that little voice that acts a conscience. I believe that He also gives us sensings. Perhaps these feelings you have are from God. In the end, do what you feel in your heart is right.

Hopefully you have an ongoing relationship with God because that is usually the best way to know whether something you are feeling is from him or not. Prayer is talking to him, and meditation is listening for his answers and if you have established a relationship with him, then it shouldn't be hard for you to differentiate between what people are telling you and what you feel in your heart of hearts is the best thing to do. Sometimes things will seem as though they're coming from God and may not be........Best wishes....

I'd love to try to help with this. Can you give me any more detail?
God does use others around us to lead and guide us, but we always need to be careful about who we listen to. It is important to make sure that their advice matches God's Word. Always check the Scriptures before taking anyone's word as absolute truth.
God's will is oftentimes not what we want or what others want for us, but rather a better, higher way. It is usually not the easy way.

Well, if you do not worship in the same ways others do, you are still doing God's Will.
If you aren't comfortable doing what everyone wants you to do, you shouldn't have to! His Will is not nessicerially the one everyone wants you to follow. I feel that religion shiould have to do with one's own way of worship, not everyone else's.

Those who would take you down their path are most likely taking you away from the path God laid out for you.

Let me guess.........Your family doesn't like who you are dating and you care deeply for them.......They said if you keep on, they will disown you.........I went through the same thing and I married him and my family had to learn that he was either accepted or not, therefore that made ME accepted or not.........Go with your gut on this one, and don't allow idle threats to keep you from happiness you deserve........Take care.............
