when alcohol was first dicovered it was used as anesthesia to perform sugery, cause someone realized when you ain't feeling no pain you can handle anything. Thats all they had back then. Then people realized it will kill all kinds of pain and help you loosen up for all types of situations

It was for purification back in the day it wasn't safe to drink the water, basicly people drink spirts all the time and milk.

People used them to clean wounds. Then i guess someones throut hurt they drank it got drunk and never stopped.

well most water was nasty, full of disease from not knowing good sanitation. but if you make alcohol well it kills the germs! also think if you didn't have all the stuff we have now days to keep you entertained, about all you would have to do would be to drink and screw (kinda like college)
