Hi. There are two things that I can understand in the following writing.

first,,

The problem is, his children are very lazy. They don`t pick up after themselves, and the place looks like a tornado hit it. I figured when it got dirty enough, someone would clean it, but that never happens. Sometimes I go over there and want to faint.

I got confused when I read the last sentence. " Sometiems I go over there and want to faint" That means she is so shocked that she wants to faint?
I dont know.. .

Second..

Until then, keep issuing the invitations, ignore the guilt-trips, and if the entire family shows up to golf with your husband, so be it.

In the last sentence, what does "so be it" means?? Does it mean "let it be"?

Please help me out. I need your help.

yes and yes for both of them. the first one is that she goes in there and she is so dismayed or surprised of how much dirt there is , that she wants to faint. the second it means if they are gonna come to golf with the family then let it be.

Yes. In the 1st one, she is so shocked about the status of the room that she cannot comprehend it. Its an overexageration and should not be taken literally. Second, "so be it" shows that she could not care less and whatever happens, happens.

To the first question,, Yes, it means she is shellshocked and about to faint on the floor,, And to the second, Yes, it means if it´s going to happen let it happen, whatever.

She wants to faint - she doesn't want to see it anymore.
So be it - it is kind of like she is used to him going to play
golf, he normally does this. Why change it.

When she sees it she would like to faint so she doesn't see it anymore.

In this case, so be it mean that it will be okay too.
