Islam is a religion about peace and tranquility. However, the incidents that took place on 9/11 and the war in Iraq have aroused many different and negative views about Islam. What are your views and what do you, as an individual, think of Islam?

No better or worse than any other religion. It is the fanatic fundamentalists like the Al-Queda, Taliban, Hezbollah, Hamas and the various factions, that don't represent true Islam, that have given it a bad name. The general public didn't know anything about Islam till 9/11 and then everyone is an expert based on what the media portrays.

Those who has given you negative answers, apparently don't THINK of Islam as they would feel.
To begin with, evidence after evidence arise on 9/11 and shows that Al-Qaedah was not involve but framed.
That the Taliban was only protecting themselves from the US Army that flee in outta nowhere to their country.
Then Iraqis start to fight back the US Army because of the blame on Weapons, frustration of the bombings and killings of children. Haven't you seen the pictures?
Then Hezbollah's retaliation to the 24 years of illegal Israel occupation of Lebanon and kidnapping of Lebanese and killing of 30% more lebanese civilian that Israel, only became a big deal a few weeks ago.
That's right. They don't think... Cos if they do... They'll know what to say rather than babbling rubbish.

First of all, Islam has nothing to do with 9/11.
Islam does not allow to kill innocents, does not matter who are they.
Islam is a great religion which testifies all divine books and prophets before itself. When we give opinion abou islam basically we are representing ourselves and our mentality. Islam is the only religion on the earth which has clear rules and regulation about every thing in this world, we can deal with.
The only essential thing is that we study islam properly and unbiased.

Islam is a very beautiful religion.I became Muslim in febuary and I have found the sisters and brothers to be wonderful,it truley is as I have found a family that wants what they want for themselves.I realize the negative effect that some have brought to this beautiful religion,and the negative role the media puts on Muslims.but we can not judge all Muslims by this and I would just ask that people research the truth and conclude for themselves without influence of all the negativity.

I wonder what's this phobia.
It takes one terrorist act as bad as it is (9-11) that killed 3000 people to decide that over a billion people should change their religion or die !!!
Millions killed by chritians all along history didn't trigger this kind of reaction ???? May I remind you that Hitler was chritian and he killed millions of jews Wasn't that religious?, Milosovich was chritian and he ordered the massacre of 200.000 Muslims !!!
Get real, and close to logic. Do you think that repeating the slogan "Chritianity is a religion of love" gives you the right to slotter millions that you don't think are in the right place/religion ?
You dare talk about Iraq !!!??? May I remind you of the thousands of civilians kille by the USA army or by shildren raped then killed with their families (Disgusting ..)
Well terrorism is bad but if you want to fight a religion What about dialog ? what about proof ?
And for god sake see the world for what it is. Crimes are crimes regardless of the criminal. There's no child OK to kill in this world even if the killer is your own brother.

A religion of peace and tranquility it is not. Muslims truly believe that it will be a religion of total peace & tranquility when all people on earth are dead except Muslims.

I do not think much about it one way or the other as it is not my way. I do however have respect for those who follow their faiths regardless of opposition. The few Muslims I have met have seemed genuinely nice people. I take each person as I find them and leave the judging to God.
