Would it be a good idea to shut down all air traiffic on the anniversary of the 911 tragedies to honor the victims of that horrific day in 2001?
Or would that bring joy and glee to the extremist Muslims to know that they have won in some shape or form?
Who can erase the memory of all those Arabs and Muslims in the Middle East dancing ,clapping ,laughing ,and singing in jubilation when the Aircrafts hit American landmarks.
What can we do to honor the victims? Make another National Holiday?

Shutting down airline travel and transport would not be constructive. It would cost American businesses, and their EMPLOYEES an enormous amount of money. Since the attacks on the world trade center were, ostensibly, about sabatoging the American economy, in as much as they were about obvious Jihadi garbage, a "no-fly holiday" would be an acknowledgment of the success of terrorism, rather than a meaningful tribute to the victims of the towers' collapse.

In order to honor the victims of 911 I think everyone should fly as much as possible.

No I would not. We can honor them by keeping their memories alive in our own memories. Seems to me if we make it a national holiday, then how about one for December 7, 1941 and one for the more than 58,000 who were killed in Vietnam, the list could go on.

No. Peoples lives have to go on even on the anniversary of 9/11. Shutting down transportation was one of the terrorists goals. Why let them realize their dream annually?

If the president had his way, it would be a national holiday already. But shutting down all air traffic would make rich people lose money, so I doubt he'd support it.
