Should I keeping going to this church?

I go to a Pentecostal church. I really love it, but lately some things have been happening that I do not understand. My Pastor has made several people leave the church and I just don't get it. Jesus forgives, why can't he. What should I do. I am getting very discouraged.

The problem is that some and not all pastors, get a god complex. and I know of several churches that have lost most of their congregation because of it. The Bible teaches us to love, not judge!
Pastors should be teachers, and leaders, not bosses. I would suggest that you think about finding another church, not quit going altogether. Also sometimes we have to take a stand and tell it like it is, the problem is when I did this in one church i was asked to leave, the next church that I attended accepted my beliefs, and welcomed my family into the church. Not everybody agreed with me but they did listen.

I'd talk to the pastor first. Give him a chance to defend himself, explain his actions. It's possible you don't know the whole story. If you aren't satisfied by what he says, however, then you should leave and go to a different Pentecostal church. Services are supposed to be uplifting and your church ought to be like a familial community. If all it does is bring people down and make you discouraged, then it's not helping your faith or your communion with God. Find some place that truly is an example of His love.

Gurl **** like that happends at my church all tha time.. me and my gurlfriend dont ever feel welcome at our church... we go to a pentecostal churchtoo ... well everyone used to be really nice and loving to us... until they found out we were lesbians .. i mean a lil' understanding ... but arent tha people of tha church sopposed to be there for u ... when u are going through a hard time... wel not ours .. they all just shune u and it kinda hurts ... but anyways i dont know if this answers ur ? or not just wanted to tell ya ...lol kimberly
