I've been hurt too many times by guys who act like they really interested and then do the disappearing act. I had a friend for a year who acted like he was my best friend, but when he got a girlfriend avoided me like the plague and never ever called again (6 months now, what a good friend he was, right?)
I read that some guys rather disappear than tell you what's really on his mind!
Can you tell me what I can look out for in guys that seem really friendly and giving if they aren't being truthful?

I'm not sure there is anything to look for. The guys that do the disappearing act are also good actors. They will do or say anything you want them to so that they prove they are good guys.
Oh, and guys disappear because it's easy. don't want to see Jill anymore..poof, just never see her anymore.
