There's a dog at the dog park that always goes right for my dog. Tonight I ignored it but he was really going at it and his "thing" was out. I dread it when I see this dog. He doesn't bother the other dogs that way. He is a golden-doodle and mine is a golden retriever.

It is a sign of dominance.
For some reason the other dog thinks he has to be the alpha to your dog.
Ask the other owner to keep an eye on his dog and call the dog back when it starts to approach your dog.
If the other person is a jerk and just thinks it's funny, then see if there is another dog park in your area.
