TODAY AFTER I READ YOUR QUESTION I WENT AND ADMIRED A GROWING FLOWER IT WAS AWESOME

Let me tell you about my tiny White Oak seedling that I rescued from my Mother's garden. It only had one little leaf, was two inches high and she was going to pull it out for a weed. I brought it home and planted it in a pot and overwintered it (thank the good god he lived) Now It's three inches high, has two leaves..one small and one regular sized. I know I'll be long dead by the time this Little One is mature, but for some reason it came into my care. It grew where it began with no help but maybe a freindly nut-munching squirrel. Where it will eventually end up I don't know either.
Oh, by the way...dandelions DO count. They're a lovely flower and no one plants them either. Besides, they're a good salad too.

Yesterday as I was getting out of my car I stopped to look at a beautiful violet flower that was growing in the flower bed that I had not planted. I know many would consider it a weed but it was so pretty that I left it where it was.

Every day on the way to work when I pass the maximillian sunflowers that are braving the drought down here.

I hope we get some good rains this fall and winter so we can have the wildflower explosion next March-May (bluebonnets, evening primrose, indian blankets, indian paintbrush) that make the roadsides look like someone sloshed out cans of blue, pink, red, and yellow paint against the green canvas of the grass.

Living in the 'burbs, it's really hard to come across anything like that. I think the last time was when I spotted some honeysuckle along a road that I take walks on regularly. That was a couple of months ago...it's been record highs here since and been too hot to walk outside. In fact it could explain the lack of flowers too.

I saw a sunflower on the side of the road today and wondered how in the world a sunflower was growing in such a strange place. I liked seeing it there and I did admire it, but I'm not certain it was not planted by human hands. I'm just not sure how it got there.

Today I was walking and there was a man weeding in a garden. I looked in the patch he hadn't gotten to yet and there were beautiful bright pink "weed" flowers growing between the "acceptable plants" and I thought - those are beautiful! I want to take one! But I was on my way somewhere so I didn't.

When I came back that way I looked for the beautiful weed flowers but the gardener had rooted them up and cast them on the sidewalk. They had withered and died.

I thought that was really sad.

Two days ago I went for a walk and admired some Queen Ann's Lace. Earlier in the season I went for walks and was happy to see lots of wild roses in different colors.

All the time, in the forest. Beautiful flowers from the seeds spread by the birds.

It reveals the art work of God with no human hands.

Does this count... at Cypress Gardens in Florida, they have a living flower that is a young lady in costume. She walks around and poses for photos.
Maybe this is a better answer, today I sketched several wildflowers that were growing near our campground.

So what's the problem with human hands? My 2nd graders planted pumpkin seeds and I encourage them to "help them grow" like in the movie "Fern Gully." They admire their baby plants every day =) And, I admire the "jungle" my husband has created in our yard because it is my escape place...I just don't have time to wander off to the woods I crave as often as I'd like =(
