Sometimes my significant other wigs me out. He was digging a hole the other day and says he got his vim and vigor from playing football in high school. The man is 53 yrs old and high school was many years ago. He also has his name and his year of high school graduation on the license plates on his van. Do some people never get over there high school years? He goes on about his high school years like they were yesterday. When we started discussing marriage and children, he told me he wanted to name our 1st child Cathy after some girl he dated in high school. What is his problem? Do all men go on and on like this about their high school days? Is it a man thing? Sometimes I just want to bust out and tell him how ignorant it is.

Might be he enjoyed his life when he was at his high school. Some people can never forget the joy they had in their young age. But naming your child after a girl he loved in his school days is a little too much. You can have a friendly talk with him and tell him how much you want him to come to the present.
