I like the redkin curl stuff -- number 2, I think it is.
Also - hot rollers work well for me, but sometimes the sponge rollers work well. I usually set mine the night before and let them dry overnight - lots of curls in the AM that way.

Use Hot Rollers, large curling Iron(1 1/4in), or velcro rollers. I think the Hot rollers are the easiest and less time consuming and will last longer.
Use them on dry hair. Spray a little hair spray or a heat setting spray. Take smaller sections-they don't need to be perfect and wrap hair around rollers. I use butterfly clips instead of the prong clips that some with them to secure them. Let them set about 15 min then take rollers out. LET HAIR COOL DOWN. Then flip head over and shake out curls. Spray some hairspray .

Go to Walmart and pick up a hot curling kit, they are not that expensive.
Plug it in, let it heat up, put the curls in your hair, let them cool, take the rollers out, finger comb, style whatever, spray with hair spray.
Its that easy and it lasts. Beautiful soft curls.

You can use the conair hot rollers where they flip inside out to secure them - mist with finishing spray and voila! You can also make those sexy curls by using a barrel iron (regular curling iron) and wrapping the hair AROUND the barrel - and you get those messy sexy waves. Good luck! I use this on my pin-straight hair (which does NOT hold any curl)
