My son was born a big boy.(he weighed nearly 12 lbs) He is now 22 months old and in a size 6 diaper. They are starting to get a little too snug. Is there a company that makes diapers in anything larger than a 6? Potty training is not possible at the moment because of a daycare situation.

My boys were all really big and when they outgrew regular diapers I had to get them the big pull ups. It is a lot more expensive, but it was the only thing we could find that would work for us.
Best of luck!

I learned I can't go by weight, either. What I have done for quite some time now w/ my oldest, and soon w/ my youngest, is I use a size larger at nights. My oldest is in 5's---Pampers, and 6's at night started leaking, too. So, a friend told me about Huggies Overnights (or something like that----it's the overnight diaper---not the night time training underpants/boxers), and size 6 in those works pretty well for him. Still use Pampers for everything else, though. I know it's frustrating! Trying to keep up w/ all the sheet & mattress cover changes can be crazy sometimes! Lots of laundry! Good luck! FYI: Walmart is very good w/ exchanging unopened diapers w/o a receipt (as long as it's something they carry)---I've had to several times when other people bought diapers for us and didn't realize the boys had gone up a size.

Biggest Baby Diaper

The largest I've seen in stores are size 6. But there must be larger sizes because some special needs children use them beyond toddlerhood. Ask at the drugstore or hospital for a source for larger diapers. I think those who suggested adult diapers were trying to be helpful.

size 6 is the biggest size.
Pampers has claims they will be making a size 7 diaper, but it hasn't been released

I'm not sure what brand you are using. I found the Luvs diapers used to run bigger,

On www.diapers2less.com they sell and XXL diaper for 40 pounds and over

other than that Pull ups are going to be your best option.

Some of the training pants or overnight diapers may be a little larger, but for regular diapers, size 6 is about the limit... at 22 months, you can start thinking about potty training. It may take a while, but you can start down the road.

There are youth sizes that run larger than the size 6 that is currently made, but they are more expensive for less diapers.

Push comes to shove, you can always go to cloth. They wouldn't be as expensive and since he is older I'm sure he isn't using quite as many so the laundry wouldn't kill you.

Good luck.

try pull ups... also you can special order diapers through a long term care pharmacy or check with any pharmacy. There are kids with certain illnesses that are 14+ years old that still will need diapers. However, I would try to start potty training at home.
