...levitating over your head while you are praying at the same time? I mean, this happened to about 60 people a long time ago and the whole building was filled with a huge rushing wind! THERE WAS FIRE ON TOP OF PEOPLE'S HEADS!! What in the world happened between those people and the Holy Spirit that day?!
This is seriously out there. If that happened to a group of Christians today and you were one of them, what would be going through your mind?

It was a metaphor describing what it seemed like, not that there WERE tongues of fire, but they LOOKED like it.
It will not happen today because the prophecy from Joel was FULFILLED at this time. That means it was completed. Done. One time thing.
Many movements today are based on the emotionalism that contradicts this and wants to keep experiencing the same thing over and over and over again. Experience has replaced the truth of the Bible.
Paul did not say in Philippians 3 that he wanted to FEEL Christ or EXPERIENCE Christ. He said he wanted to KNOW Christ. Feelings and experiences should never supercede the truth of the Bible.

Are you talking about the charismatic Christians? The believe that the presence of the Holy Spirit was felt by those present at that time, hence "fire on top of people" - if I was present, this would have gone thru my mind

actually god gave the gift i prayed and asked for it. and its something of a high. not a dopped up high or a temporary high but a good high. you start shaking and get very mixed up on the inside cause u dont know whats going on your trying to fight it but if you learn to trust in god and let him take control of that youll be alright . its a feeling like you wont feel anywhere else.

Very Grateful unto the Lord.
This will happen to a little more than 144000 people soon.
One thing about it, where ever you go and who ever you talk to will understand you as if you were speaking to them in the language they grew up with. And when they speak to you, you will understand them as if they spoke to you in the language you grew up with.
