Right, about me, I was born.... half catholic half christian, but never stepped into a Christian church until I was 15. I never felt compatible with the catholic church and barely went to church, I was mostly obligated because I attended a catholic school.

I am Kemetic Orthodoxy. I was born into the Catholic religion. I have been to many different kinds of religious places. I have studied some religions also. I found that the Kemetic Orthodoxy religion was right for me.

I am Baptist,, I have always been this religion, and thankful that my husband is also Baptist.

I guess I am glad I am this religion. If I were born any other I am sure that I would think that religion was the best also!@! because we were raised it, and were instilled those beliefs by our parents.

I like a lot of you,,,think that my religion is the best to be!!! sorry.. this is the way I feel.

At least when I am introduced.. they don't tag whatever religion I am behind it..
O, that's ...... she 's "Mormon", or , she is " A Jehovah Witness.. or Pentecostal.. or did you know she doesn't believe in God?

So, I wouldn't change my religion.. I guess the only one I would change to is:
Methodist,, and that would even be hard.

Everything I believe is back by the Holy Bible.

Either king James version, or International version..

God Bless, and have a great day.. lol.

I was a Catholic and am now agnostic. I had many issues with the Catholic church for many years until I finally realized that it was actually a bastardized version of what Christianity should be. I then realized that the Bible is, in fact, a flawed man-made book whose roots are from paganism. I presently regard myself as agnostic because I still believe in a divine creator, but all religion is man-made and unbelievable.

Was a christian but I Did not feel like Christians were actually following the true teachings of Jesus. To much judging others, and hypocrisy.

Found a book called the course in miracles. It is very interesting and gives a far more logical version of the teachings of Jesus without all of the contradictions. Have been studying it for about 7 years, And I has really changed my life for the better.

I am Eastern Orthodox (Christian) and have been for about five years. Before that I was Lutheran and before that I was into a lot of things including atheism, buddhism, and even Native American shamanism. The conversion story would be a little long for this forum; suffice it to say that I have come to see Christ as the answer and know that neither the Papist nor the protestant groups are His true Church.
Only Orthodoxy possesses the fullness of Truth, as far as I can see.

I was born into a "Christian" home - not super heavy duty into religion but we went to church a few times a year.. as I got older I realized all religions are lies.. none is 100% right, all have flaws and were made to benefit an organization called "The Church"

so that said.. I beleive in God but not religion and never catagorize myself under any denomination

I am also Asatru, not by upbringing or birth (Church of England because that was the done thing then).

I chose my religion in the last few years, I don't exactly know when or why, but it just make sense to me, I had been a complete non-believer for most of my life before that. Something just "clicked" one day and I realized the truth as seen from my point of view and as applied to me.

My personal affiliation is to Thor, brother & protector of mankind, but I believe in all the norse gods & goddesses.

It was a fairly meandering path. I was raised Methodist (the son of a Methodist minister). I then divorced the Methodists, refused to return the Baptists' calls, fled abuse from the Catholics, engaged in heavy petting with the Episcopalians & Unitarians, but fell in love with the Buddhists because with them, "no-God" is also a spiritual path.

I'm Atheist. My family is Christian, my b/f is Irish Catholic. I've never believed in a god, even when I was young. I never could accept that there was one supreme being. I believe in evolution. We came from monkeys. I don't know where everything came from or how things started, and I don't really care all that much. Things exist, who cares how it started... there's no solid proof.
