Psychics are pure con-artists... I've answered this question several times before for others. It keeps coming up again and again.

Psychics are just magicians. They use tricks to gain information. In fact, the good ones like John Edward do very little. Most of what seems like a prediction is you offering up certain information from a vague stimulus provided by the "psychic." This technique is called cold reading and anyone can do it with practice.

Watch John Edward on TV. He starts very broad... in fact most of the time he addresses the entire audience first with something very broad like a letter, a common name, or a number and ask does that mean anything to anyone? Invariably someone will say something to the effect of "yes that was my grandfathers middle name" From here he can go almost anywhere. And when you see the TV show all you see are the hits, the misses are almost completely edited out.

All psychics use the same tricks, there are no REAL psychics.

Absolutely. I passed someone with a sign in the window on the way home today. I'm positive they're there.

However, I do not believe they have any special powers or abilities.

(Believing IN psychics is like asking if you believe in the moon. You should have asked if people believe in psychic power.)

absolutely.Scientists say that all humans are born with psychic powers,we just can't or don't know how to use them...yet!Scientists hypothesize in the future all humans will be born with the knowledge of how to use this part of our brain. The psychics from today and the past were luckily born with this ability,or advantage, and should be thankful for their gift.I don't believe in the so-called psychics that charge money to get a so-called reading.

Yes, but they are pretty rare, at least true psychics are. And you won't find them on commericials or on TV trying to fleece money from people or sell you stuff or charge you for advice.

IF psychics are real (BIG IF) then they get their power from satan. If God wanted people to know the future then he would juss tell them. But then again Satan may not know the future, and if he doesn't, then psychics aren't real. I am Christian

No and here's an example - If Miss Cleo knew that she was going to prison then why didn't she leave the USA?

Sure, the government spent lots of money researching it, and some police departments give officers training in remote viewing.
