I've always had the hair standing on the back of your neck creepy feeling, as long as I can remember. I've been watching a lot of documentaries on hauntings/demons/ghosts/angels/etc and wonder if anyone has really had that happen to them and has a good explanation for it, or if it is all just made up. I do believe in God therefore I believe in demons/angels. Don't get me wrong, I am HAPPY I haven't "experienced" it firsthand.. :)

Not anything scary, but this actually happened to me.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

I am of The Christian Faith and I have had three incounters with demons... I have never had the " haunting" experience as in "spirits" living in the house kind of thing... but demons are indeed real and evil and can be dangerous...The first encounter I had was 30 yrs before I became a Christian... then twice since... The first was an attempted posession and the last two were physical asaults...no one should take the demon business lightly...even those of The True Christian Faith can suffer from the actions of demons...

I have never seen a ghost and even lived in a dormitory in college that reportedly was haunted (Never saw a thing and I even lived on the supposedly haunted floor!) I've been watching too many episodes of ghosts hunters because I am convinced that I have a "haunted" picture. It is a picture of me and my college ex-roommate posing at the top of Diamond Head in Hawaii and there is this streaky white thing that cuts across the picture. I took pictures going up the tunnel to get to the top and threw away a bunch because they all had these streaky things going through them. The rest of the pictures after Diamond Head were fine.

I don't know why we are so afraid of ghost. They aren't supposed to harm us. They are already dead. But here's a true account I had:

I was sitting at the dining room just minding my own business. I turned around and saw a black figure staring at me. His eyes were red. Demon? I don't know but I got the hell outta there.

Another time was when I was sitting in the floor watchin tv when I had looked up at the kitchen doorframe and I thought I saw a white figure flying then evaporating. I turned off the tv and bolted upstairs to the rest of my family.

Another time was when it was near Christmas( I think anyway) and I was playing with my toy. I looked up at the stairs and I saw an all white figure(it looked like a female) walking down the steps. She was wearing a white cloak. She was beautiful but I was still freaked out.

Another time was when I was *** naked in the bathtub. I looked up at the medicine cabinet and I see something that looked like a figure in a black cloak. It had a skull instead of a face.

Also on a number of times I would feel water drip onto me or see water dripping from doorframes. Water still seems to drip on me for some reason.

YEAH I'M ONLY 16 AND I'VE WITNESSED ALL OF THIS.

SORRY THE CORRECT TERM IS SPIRIT NOT GHOST.

I could have swore in one house I rented for a summer that I shared it with a ghost. I can distinctly remember waking up in bed on several nights from a knock on the headboard. It was so clear I could even feel the rush of air past my cheek as the "hand" knocked to wake me up. There were other times that I woke up from various sounds and such.

It was kind of creepy initially, but nothing else really happened. The thing never did the dishes...
