The dog goes for it. A dog has fewer germs than a person , but doesn't taste as good. Its like a low-cal French kiss. But, if it makes the dog's day , then I get joy out of that.

If a person truly loves their pet and considers he/she to be a part of the family and not just "the dog" or a piece of property, then receiving affection from that member of the family is wonderful. I love my chihuahua mix, Gigi very much, and when she gives me kisses i enjoy it. People who are disgusted by how a dog shows affection just shouldn't get a dog. Because getting a dog and never allowing it to show affection to you is like having a child and never allowing that child to say "i love you".

If u really love ur pet..he/she like a family member to u ..u r so attached ..and the joy of ur pet licking u is like receiving love frm someone who is affectionate to u.....

I dont get any injoyment .I hate it. but I will tell you one thing the other joy my dog gives me is worth putting up with it.My life woudnt be the same without dogs.

I find it very exciting. Unfortunately the local Humane Society has banned me from visiting their dogs.

i don't know, i don't let my dogs licks my face and they know now its a bad thing to do so they lick my hands instead when I'm playing with them.
