Sure. I have the gift of prophecy, and it is only because the bible tells me so that I believe it is a gift. It is difficult to know some of the things that I know. We all have gifts bestowed by God; prophecy is as natural a gift as, say, teaching.

No, but I've heard of some prophets. Like Ellen G White (she can be weird at times). Then there are people who get dreams that predict the future, but perhaps they were just super smart and thought, hey, that might just happen.
