This is an odd question because there isn't much that is similar between the two.
Perhaps the only thing similar between the two is observation. A visual artist observes the world and tries to replicate it. A scientist observes the worlds and tries to understand it.
Art is the result of creativity using tools, resources, and concepts. Art can be anything that is created from an idea, to a painting, to a piece of music.
Science is a means of giving order to observations. A hypothesis leads to an expiriment that produces results. If the results can be replicated then that leads to further hypothesis and theories.

I'd like to compare them to your photo. Your body is like a rare and beautiful piece of art. As for the science part it would be fun to experiment and explore all the parts of your body to see what makes you aroused. The one thing art and science have in common is what stimulates our senses. The difference is art has a more immediate impact on our senses and science takes longer to develop and mature.

Art requires science, because science is the study of observed behaviors and actions. Art references to a habitual action or behavior that is being performed.

Science is a systematically organised body of knowledge on a specific subject, usually through observation and experiment.
Art is more an expression or application of creative skills and imagination, particularly through a visual medium such as painting or sculpture.
