My Grandma died and my family all went to the funeral. Since Im a big guy I felt it was necessary to bring along some honey buns and chips. I made sure to hide them in my coat until we got into the church. But when my mother went up to give her ulogy, I couldn't help it- so I started eating the chips- and I guess everyone heard the bag rustling so they gave me a look. My mother continued but I kept eating, and she finally broke into tears and screamed at me to "stop eating!" I got real upset, so I stood up and with the chips in my mouth told her "You stop crying you bytch!" Everyone gasped, my father tackled me to the ground. And since Grandma's casket was open, my chips fell from my hands and onto her chest. To wrap this up my mother now wont speak to me and my father wants me to seek counseling- I dont get it! I was fuking hungry and wanted to eat! Im a big guy and couldnt wait until later. Whyd my mom get so mad??? And my Dad tackled me in public??

I'm gonna take this seriously, even though it's probably load of BS.

What is freakin wrong with you?? Your grandma died, it was a time of mourning, and you're sitting there eating your friggin doritos like it's some kind of sitcom!! Your mom was within her rights to tell you to stop, and how could you be mad at her for crying? IT'S A FREAKIN FUNERAL, THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE DO!! And you used profanity at her funeral! What in the heck would make you think that was okay?? I wouldn't have stopped at tackling you, I would've knocked you out!! DANGIT, you have no manners to say the least. You need to apologize to everyone at that funeral, especially your poor Grandmother. She's probably turning over in her grave, ya sicko.

If this is a joke, may the same disrespect be given to you at your funeral.

If this is NOT a joke
1 - You are a spoiled disrespectful brat
or
2 - You should go live with the guy that drinks beer at funerals
3 - You have a SERIOUS overeating problem, and that is why you are a BIG GUY
4 - You should have your teeth knocked out of your face for calling your Mother that, if it weren't for her you wouldn't be alive.

Just stay home for the rest of your life, don't go out in public, and eat until you can't get out of the front door anyway.

I think you "made up" this story just for this Answers Column.
If it should be a true story (which I doubt), then you need
professional help. One doesn't eat during a funeral and
generally, there is some sort of meal after the funeral and
you should have waited. If you're such a "big boy", it's
because you eat too much and the wrong things. Either
quit eating or quit lying.

You should have eaten outside the church. It really is a sign of disrespect to everybody even the dead.
What would you feel when you are presenting your thoughts and you are expecting everybody to listen because it is so important to you and you see someone eating? Will you not think he is not interested and at the same ignoring you by showing his disrespect? It is not so much about your eating or your hunger, it is about ettiquette.
Better if you ate outside the church maybe she would not even have noticed that you were not there. You are so wrong there my friend and your size can never justify what you did. Your hunger will definitely be understandable but your manner may need some polishing. How about a sincere apology? Your parents lost their temper but they do not owe you an apology, you do.

It was a funeral for your Grandma, no one told you that you had to die of starvion. Eat on! It was her funeral, not yours.

But next time your Grandma dies, try to have a little more respect and buy Pringles instead of bringing a bag.

You should apologize, to ease things over with your parents.

Did you get the bag of chips out of the casket?

In my country, Thailand, light meal is provided for the people that attend a funeral held at any Buddhist temple. Eating is OK but drinking alcohol is not polite.

Actually it was a good story, just a bad subject. It had a beginning, middle and an end. It even had the set up all worked out. You're a silly guy.

Some people actually have problems like this. Do you think anyone else would find this funny? Get a life and stop wasting people's time. Wasted 45 seconds of my life here...
