They are both offensive, derogatory terms. No one should use them and they should be banished from the dictionary.

If blacks don't like the word "******" or "*****" they shouldn't be calling each other either thing. Period. End of discussion. It doesn't matter what race is calling black people "******". It's a bad word. Don't use it no matter who you are. Secondly, the word "*********" has nothing to do with one's race. "*********" means cheap. People need to look up the definition before getting all high and mighty about something that SOUNDS like something else. Third, the only "racism" that exists in France is from people who think they belong to a certain category just because of their ethnic background. If you were born in France, you are a French citizen. If you don't think you are, go the f*** back to where your ancestors came from. Stop embarassing yourselves by expecting France to put you in some "recognized" status. You aren't special.

There is a BIG difference and also, when another race calls you that name, they are meaning it in a whole different context than when a black person uses it amongst themselves. Most people of other ethnicities don't use the word around black people because they know they will have an asss whooping coming.

This is life, get used to it.
I hate when people call me "Indian" when I have never been to India. I just say to myself, "good grief" and continue with my work. It's not like I do the beat down on someone just because they are uneducated.
If you were born in American, you are American, but then again this is why France is having so much trouble. Saying everyone who is in France is French even though there is discrimination when it comes with life in France. At least, America has affirmative action (or equal access).
Ugh!! Good Grief.

O.K. Either way it is offensive, whomever uses it. Since you are on a word search, define "*********". An educator was terminated for using this word at a conference to describe fiscal attributes of his school district.

The difference is that N-I-G-E-R is VERY derogatory while N-I-G-A is more slang and less derogatory. Yes, essentially they are the same.
