I don't think so. Even if it was in person. I think you can 'love' the way they make you feel. Or 'love' talking with them. I don't think you can fall in love with someone in that short period of time though. Especially over something so impersonal like the computer.

I am not sure about the only two weeks part. That seems an awfully short time. However, I believe it is possible to be in love with someone you have never met. I started emailing someone for emotional support during my marriage breakup and within a few months we were in love but I too have a problem with distance as he is in England. With the recent terrorist attacks and everything plus he has family there not sure we will ever meet. If you two really are in love and want to be together though you will find a way but 2 weeks seems a little too soon. Give it more time to see how you feel.

it will last if you want it to last. I mean really just make sure you are really really sure about your feelings, people these days mistaken the word "love" for really liking someone alot. It used to be the hardest thing to say, to say "I love you" would be like ripping your soul out. When you said it, you really meant it, those words would cause break-ups and confused boyfriends/girlfriends not knowing what to say. But well in today's world, people have manipulated the connotation of the word "love". But well it doesn't matter where he is, how old he is, what's he like, etc... there are no rules to love. It can happen anywhere at anytime, any place, etc...

Follow your heart and choose to do what you feel is best

Oh my gosh yes! The first person i ever fell in love with it was love after our first date and i loved him for like 10 years after that. I went to work and asked an older lady how do I know what I'm really feeling is love? She said if you can picture yourself with that person through thick and thin not just good times but tragedies also. I immediately pictured him in a wheelchair and me proudly pushing him around and attending to his every need. I was willing to be there with him through the good and bad so do you feel the same way about this person?

You have fallen in love with your image of this person.
Do you have any idea how close your image of him is to
reality?

Who knows: Maybe it is quite close.

However, you'll never know without face-to-face contact.

Don't get me wrong: Even with face to face contact, you
may THINK you know somebody but not have all the facts
and find out he's an axe murderer.

So ... you love an image? Fine - go find out if the image
is real. If it isn't, don't be too disappointed. There are lots
of images out there that are too good to be true.

Oh my God, YES!
I met my husband on line and fell in love with him within a matter of days! We met and have been together ever since!
That was 5 years ago and we have been married for 2 years and have 2 beautiful daughters! I hope this helps! It worked for me!
Love is alive and well on AOL! LOL
Now as to weather or not it will work, that I don't know, but I know that it worked for me! God bless!

Yes it is possible, the main problem is that this relationship is built over sand nor solid rock.

A great friendship needs more than just emails, chats or voices over the phone. You have a good start (if both of you are honestly presenting yourselves to each other) but if you want it to last, both of you have work to do.

It's cyber love---it's possible to be confused with the power of LOVE--but what you have is a yearning--a longing--we humans tend to be persuaded by intrigue and mystery. It's the very reason we tend to gwak at the sight of a possible accident--we're intrigued by the outcome.

I would suggest you approach the subject lightly, keep it simple, remember the reality of the situation, but have fun with it as well. Don't place all your eggs in one basket---just remember if HE wants it to get serious--HE'll jump the pond for you---likewise, can be said about you!

Have fun with it, just approach it cautiously

No way! It's pretty impossible. How can you really love someone you have not met and only corisponded through emails. My friends going through the heart break of rejection from this very thing. You never know what they are truely like!

I dont know. I think love is a total package. You dont have the total package until you have met and been together to some degree. You may be in love with what you hope he will be.

I really doubt it will work out. Unless one of you can relocate to the others area.
