I met a lot of really cool people online. I also ran into a few weirdos! In fact I am married (almost 10 years) to one of the weirdo guys I met online 12 years ago LOL! We dated 2 1/2 years before we married.
We chatted for about 6 weeks. Then we met at a weekly get together for the bulletin board group. Met there for a few months, chatted online....over the phone too. Started dating, had a kid, got married and now 12 years later we are in the process of divorcing.
Talking to people online is fine as long as it doesn't cross over into strange things. Don't give out personal information. Meet in public places and not anywhere out of the way. Take other people with you if you plan to meet anyone. If you are under 18 or 21 let your family know who you talk to and plan to meet up with. WAY TOO MANY PERVS OUT THERE THESE DAYS!!!

Not to come down hard on you, but you spelled one of the words in your question incorrectly. Feal, should be feel. I have never talked to a guy online, and have no desire to do so. I think it's better to meet men in public than online. You never know, the guy could be lying about who he really is!

Depends on your situation and why you are seeking to talk online in the first place. I feel talking online is fine if your grown you can basically do as you please even if you want to get a little freaky maybe this is your only outlet(i sure hope not) but i find it refreshing talking to people you dont know they can be objective

I actually my my fiance on line.... we chatted for a few hours....exchanged phone numbers and within a week went on out first date.... that was 6 months ago and we are still just as in to each other now as we were from that first date... Use your own judgement, if there is anything that you feel uncomfortable about or have a bad feeling about, end it, asap.

I actually date guys on line as long as you meet in a public place. I usually meet them in a restaurant. Do not give them your address or any thing like that. I would not give them your phone number until you get to know them.

I do that all the time as long as you don't give out your personal information to them. It's just chatting. But you really don't know who is on the other side of the computer. Be careful though!

I think it's o.k. to chat...but I would never tell them where I live and I DEFINITELY wouldn't go lookin' for love...
I'm 30 years old and I have a friend who goes on blind dates with guys she met on line; they have all been LOSERS.
and the possibilities of them being creepy is very high

I like it alot, well the ones who carry a conversation. I'm not into the guys who want to talk about sex. I'm so comfortable talking this way.
