I always had shoulder length hair but at least for a year my hair be falling out. The reason why it started falling out, because I dyed my hair blonde and over processed my hair. But my hair was growing back, so I started wearing sew-in-weaves for six months, but my hair was still falling out. My hair suggested that I should perm my hair casue that can make my hair fall out since my roots are nappy. The thing is that the back of my hair is grow but the rest is not. That shoul I do right now I have kinky twist in my hair. Every say that I should wear my hair out but my hair is feel thin right now. Can I still wear weaves but just get perms?

The sew in weaves are partly why your hair is falling out, plus it will cause your hair to break over time. Your hair sounds like it needs a break from everything. You need to get yourself some good oils and massage your scalp with them to help hair re-growth.

Also, I would suggest seeing your doctor to make sure you do not have a vitamin deficiency, or undiagnosed thyroid condition. Simple things like that, we usually would not think of, can cause very damaging things to us. Get your doctor to run some tests on you and make sure everything is okay. Your doctor can also check your scalp and either treat it, or suggest a dermatologist, if needed.

Take care of you!!!

I'm not a pro a dealing with your hair type, but I'm gonna say that I think your hair needs a break from chemicals and weaves. Even though it's been awhile since you bleached it out as long as all the blonde hasn't been cut out- that portion of your hair is super fragile. Add to that weaves that can cause hair to break off and perming and you've got some pretty damaged hair. I'd figure out a way to wear your hair that would be doing the least amount of damage to it until some of this super fragile hair gets cut out. If you don't it will keep breaking.

However, if you notice that you hair is falling out from near your scalp I'd see a Dr. Sometimes hair loss is the first symptom to health issues. If that's not the case, it's just that your hair is really damaged and all the hair treatments in the world won't fix that completely unless it is cut out. Hope this helped. Good luck!

Your hair is already too damaged to get a perm. I would say get another sew in weave until your hair is at your desired length.. Stay away from the perms and dye for a while, until you start seeing some new growth and your hair repairing itself. I suggest you go to a salon and have this done b/c store bought products are usually consist of harsful products, and if you dont know that much about the makeup of those products, you might be in more trouble.. Simply, if you can afford it

1. go to the salon, and get a sew in weave, and if its done right it will last for about 3-4 weeks...
2. buy salon products to grease your scalp.. They should have sheen..
3. Go to walgreens and by hair vitamins
4. Drink plenty of water(water is good for the hair and skin)
5. And make sure you keep your hair wrapped at night with a silk scarf, this prevents breakage..

Hope this helps..

Sweetie, I think you can get a very attractive wig until your hair grows back. Seriously, a nice hair piece would be nice! You must stop with the chemicals and weaves. These are things that will do more damage. Good luck, and please, talk to a hairdresser in a professional salon and she will be able to help you!

Your hair could aslo be falling out because you are deficient in a certain nutrient such as zinc. Try getting more iron into your diet (beans, oatmeal, pork, just to name a few), but I would definitely stop messing with your hair and just let it flow and grow. You might change up the shampoo and conditioner your using as well. One to try is Biolage shampoo and conditioner for stressed hair. If it continues to fall out, consult a doctor.

I dont know but I wouldnt dye your hair anymore. Your hair can fall out because of stress, using certain shampoos that keep on leaving wax on your hair which makes it heavier (Pantene ProV is what I heard) and of course, hair dyes which strip your hair.

maybe your hair isnt healthy after dyin it...i think that you should discontinue dying your hair, or maybe just use another brand if needed...treat your hair with oils or creams...but it can also be that you are taking on too much stress...best of luck
