First of all, read the CD case to see if your computer meets the requirements.
Do you have Windows? If so, then go to the Start Menu, click Run, then click Browse. Double click the drive the disk is in, and there will probably say something like Setup or Install among a range of options. Double click on Setup or Install and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you have a Mac, then double click the Mac HD symbol at the top right of the screen. Click on the picture of the disk, then click Install or Setup.
If these don't work, your disk might not be clean, or it might have a scratch. There are cleaning products to help with this.

Look on the front of your CD-ROM, most models have a small hole about the size of a pinhole underneath the drawer. This is the manual eject. Use something small like the end of a paperclip (I don't advise a pin as this may damage the mechanism, but you can use one if you have to) and push it gently but firmly into the hole, this should open the drawer. I don't advise using this method very often so unless you need to use it urgently or need to retrieve a disc that is stuck inside, I would suggest following the maker's troubleshooting advice (ususally found on their website) and if all else fails, buy a new CD-ROM.

If it's jammed then just unplug the computer, and take the CD rom out manually. Doing that won't hurt your pc I promise I had to do it once when my CD rom cracked my Bleach CD from over heating.

There is a tiny hole on the front of the cd rom and all you do is stick a paper clip in it and it will pop out.

If it has electricity and you see a little light when you turn on the pc, then get a clip, insert it in a tinny hole in front of the CD-ROM and push hard.

There's a tiny little hole on the front of the drawer - see it? Unbend a paper clip or take a needle and insert it and push - it should come right open.
