Perhaps you are unaware of the magnificent history of the texts that you call "The Holy Bible." This collection of fantastic and fabulous writing includes history, myths, geneology, poetry, political polemic, and more. The Bible consists of myths from other cultures - many Genesis stories are similar to stories from Sumeria, where Abraham was from. Genesis refers to GIANTS!
Now, I'm not as familiar with the Old Testament's history as I am with the new's - the new testament, for example, contains a story jesus supposedly told about only throwing a stone if you are without sin. Well, he never told that story, and that's known for a fact, because the first several copies of the gospels do not contain the story. It only shows up after 400A.D! Also, we know many books of the bible were suppressed by 'church fathers.' Among these are the Gospel of Judas where Jesus is described as saying his apostles are pedophiles, murderers, and theives who will lead astray countless people because they do not understand what Jesus is saying.

I personally find it easy to distinguish my self from my relection, and my dreams from my waking state. I don't know why you can't. But, if you think reality is so fluid and unknowable, why believe what babies believe?

He who asserts a positive must prove it. If you say there is a God, and it's important to you - which it seems to be - then prove it. Show me. You can show me the earth, the sky, nature and you can show me people and animals. I can touch see and feel these things. Now allow me to do the same with God if you say he exists and is not a figment of your imagination.

If I told you there were fairies and pixies and elves and dragons and all manner of fantastic being you wouldn't believe me. If I pressed the point and you were in any way interested you would , quite rightly demand proof. If I said to you take my word for it there would be no reason you should do so. If I told you that the earth had been visited by Martians you would have to be pretty gullible to believe me and, as a courtesy, I would be obligated to provide you with proof if I wanted and needed your agreement.

You say to me that God is no alien, he is no pixie - he really does exist. Then prove it and stop being provocative. I do not accept any of your assertions - I do not agree that 'even babies understands'. The other questions you raise do not prove your assertion they are vexatious and with no relevance to the matter at hand. Prove your assertion, and no that mere abuse or condescension is not proof.

If you can't do that or make a decent attempt at a rational explanation further discourse would be futile.

First off, many people teach english as a second language look one of them up. Second look up any philosophy student, they will resolve your issues over dream and waking states and which one your in. Although it maybe difficult in your case. Third I believe in Jesus, he existed, just that I dont accept that he was god or the rest of the stories his buddies dreamt up about his jumping out of the grave. The bible I recognize as the book at the end of the second section of one of my bookcases so I can hardly refute it. Oh and babies don"t really understand anything.

First of all, ask Jesus to teach you basic grammar and spelling.
Second of all what you are talking about is philosophy. How can you refute flying elephants? You don't know if you are real or if you're just a dream. Just because you've never seen an elephant fly doesn't mean they can't, right?

Honey, I've answered a couple of your questions so far and you get more confusing each time. Reality is merely an illusion we use to explain our current state. Just because YOU accept Jesus in your reality does NOT mean that anyone else has to.

I think therefore I am. If I do not exist in the way that I perceive myself to exist then certainly anyone else within my false perception won't know the truth either. So, If I am not real in this state then no concept in my false reality could be real either...that would mean that your claim of Jesus being real is a part of my false reality and therefore false. So, basically, you just disproved Jesus.

You're right! My reality is all just an illusion! I will question it with my whole being. I already question the Bible, so maybe now that I'm questioning my own reality, I'll just ignore the Bible completely! Why confuse matters, right?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

It's just crazy. How do you know that a god we haven't discovered is the true god? How do you know that the Bible is the word of god and not just a made up hunk of crap? A baby understands because it doesn't know what else to believe in. I could tell my 2 year old that we were all sneezed out of the nose of some intergalactic being and he would believe it, because he doesn't know the difference between fact and fiction.

Am I a guy dreaming i'm a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming i'm a guy? You argument with regards to the character of certainty could be the two utilized to your non secular ideals- is the bible genuine or only an hallucination? To me, i've got self assurance in what i will degree or might nicely be logically deduced. little or no interior the bible is relatively in keeping with certainty (scientifically, traditionally, and so on.), and very much of it relatively is only illogical.

The logic of your question, or should I say the lack of logic, and your horrible spelling and sentence structure shows a very primitive and simple mind. And as such I am not surprised at all by your beliefs. I do have a question for you though......is it some kind of huge time savings on your part typing 'u' instead of you?
