Unfortunately nothing but time will cause the everyday heartache to go away. It's right that you feel pain, anguish, lethargy, and a feeling of helplessness. That's the only way you know how much you loved the one who's passed. If it didn't hurt, you didn't care. Lost my mom and grandmother in the course of 2 mos last year and as retarded as it sounds, grieving is the only way to get through the grief.

I feel your pain, I am going through the same thing...I lost my 19 yr old son in a car accident, two years ago.....

All I can say, is my faith has carried me through, knowing one day I will see him again....

Please do A LOT of reflection on when this loved one was with you and your times together.....It helps me greatly to deal with the loss......I find if I try not to think about it, it only makes the grief come out through depression, its good to release that pain by reflection.....

I am sorry for your loss and I know what you are going through....My hope and what keeps me going is knowing one day I will be with my beloved son...God bless and good luck....

Time, I lost a good friend a few months ago and still think about her. I know it sounds weird but, I emailed her, I know she will never get it but, I Had to tell her all I thought and how I missed her. There are support groups, or go to the local church. They say time heals the pain, I don't know if it heals the pain or just gets it out of your mind a little. good luck.

If you have faith in God that is a good start. If you don't well thinking positively about the loved one and keeping them in your heart but letting them go as the preeminent thoughts in your mind. I still think fondly of my brother, and mother sometimes I even get sad but I remember the time I had with them and that keeps them in a special place in my heart. Know that they are gone physically but will always be with you. Its hard and everyone grieves in their own way. Find out whats best for you.

I don't know if you believe in life after death, but there is a book by James Van Praagh, called Talking to Heaven. I read it after my son died and it gave me some comfort, that he was still around me all the time, in spirit. You can find this book at your local public library.

Go to your church or an organization near you and go to a bereavement session. There you will find many people who have lost loved ones. Everyone there has the same problem. Good luck and God Bless.

You will never alleviate the pain...it's part of your life now and that you will take to your death with you. You must learn to accept it and be mature enough to understand it.

You have to grab the closest thing to you that you love and keep that feeling in your heart. That's what will keep you going is knowing that you loved that person and they knew it.Every time I feel sad I grab my dog Eddie or my cat Buzzey and it's like they know I need them. Pets are funny like that! Best wishes and good luck!

Just remember they live forever and ever inside your heart, closer than they could ever be in life.
Time will truly ease the pain, but it will never be gone.
My sympathy for your loss.
