A Quija Board is just a piece of cardboard. That's it.

My aunt & cousin with some friend used the Ouija board, one friend kept blowing cigarette smoke at the glass and making jokes. My cousin who lives in America was told by the board that "I will take care of you", the joker when he went home was sitting on his loo when his shirt started to get pulled (like someone was in front of him and pulling his shirt), also one of his light bulbs blew out.
Another story I heard from a man was that many many years ago a girl and some friends did Ouija board, one child was thrown through a window and to this day the girl (now a woman) will not talk about her experience.
I have heard that you can invite through a demon and they are hard to send back. If you mess with Ouija you mess with the unknown. Only experienced people with knowledge of the afterlife should attempt the Ouija. So stay away.

There is nothing wrong in using a Quija board, as long as your attentions are good. I believe that like attracts like, so if you use the board in love, light and truth, then that are the kind of spirits that you will attract. You often find that the people that get into trouble with Quija boards, are young, possibly drunk and just looking for a thrill. Or people blame the Quija for bringing bad luck onto them, it's not the board, it doesn't have any power. however the mind does.
I have used the board once, and it was fine, but feel there are better ways to blend with the spirit world, meditation for example. You need to ask yourself why you want to use a Quija board and do you really want to know the answers to your questions. With any divination, if that is why you would want to use it, the answers can be ones we don't want to hear!

The ouija board does nothing. However the problem is when you get a few folk together...When a medium contacts spirits there are certain things that they do. Most of them have a guide who protects them when they go into a trance however the problem with ouija boards is that you leave yourself open to earthbound spirits and they can attach themselves to you unless you know what you are doing. Personally I would leave them well alone.

Satan and his demons are very real my friend and if you go using a ouija board and trying to communicate with the spirits you may very well open a huge porthole for those demons to get to you and they will. The occult is very real and very very dangerous and you really have no clue what you could be dealing with if you go diving into the world of demons and spirits.
my advice to you is to not use or go near a ouija board and please do not dabble in the occult or get involved with anyone who is involved in it.....satan and his demons are powerful and will seek to destroy you anyway they can and that includes using what seems to be an innocent childs play thing like a ouija board.

Depends on your beliefs and level of education on the use of spirit boards, a lot of people are in praise of spiritualists but seem opposed to spirit boards due mainly it seems the idea of contacting the dead being evil – why that would be evil I'll never know. There are your urban myths, and in all fairness there are some very stupid people who believe they are talking to the dead and let those 'dead' tell them what to do, we call these people schizophrenic and it is a problem with the people themselves, not the tools which they are using. To most people who use spirit boards they are simply another form of divination, no different from tarot cards or dividing rods, then there are people who view this as evil, again why this is seen as evil I'll never know.

Should you explore something that both the Bible and real-life experiences show can be related to “wicked spirit forces”? (Eph. 6:12) Surely the Scriptures are reasonable when asking: “Can a man rake together fire into his bosom and yet his very garments not be burned?”—Prov. 6:27.
Many indeed have been “burned,” adversely affected, by experimenting with the Ouija board or in other ways trying to develop psychic powers. Says Dr. Harmon H. Bro, social scientist and specialist in psychology: “Psychic development is like playing psychological Russian roulette—like being hypnotized by a stranger of unknown training and intent.”
The connection of the Ouija board with divination, spiritism and “uncanny power,” all of which God disapproves, along with the frightening experiences that many have had, makes it plain that experimenting with the Ouija board could have only a detrimental effect on you.—Deut. 18:10-12
Christians should have nothing to do with them.

there's nothing wrong with using an ouija board...it's just to what extent do you believe in the results...and that's personal. i've had friends say they've had experiences where they asked about deceased people and the answers were accurate..and then also i've done ouija board where the girl later admitted to having moved the little dial thing

Others will say that the Ouija board is pure evil.
I wouldn't know, the first time, and last time I used one, it didn't work. People that were there said I had "negated" the spirits from the board.

On the one hand, it's not wrong- I mean, we had a crack at it, but we we obviously just having a bit of a joke, nothing paranormal was going on. On the other hand, I'm not saying you won't make contact with the spirits of the dead, but I'm not putting money on it either...
Try watching a horror film with ouija in it first, that might improve the effect ;)

Anything, when abused, can lead to doing something wrong. With an Ouija board, you would be doing wrong if you did everything it told you to do... that's taking away your free choice. Sure, I played it as a kid, it was fun and spooky... and nothing at all happened!
