I think that as long as there is mankind there will be terrorism. Why? Because our basic mentality is me and when "me" doesn't get my way, then I will demand it, and when that doesn't work, I will fight for it. It's only by God's grace that we overcome the need to terrorize others so that our personal wants are deemed more important than anyone else's.

What kind of question is this? IF this is a question regarding your hatred to them then you are ignorant and an extremist. Anyway Terrorism is never been synonimous to Islam. Then, tell me the Crusades of the Middle Ages, Moses and his peoples' actions toward the Midians as well as Joshua and today Israel's actions towards Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt. Also, the Japanese and the teachings of Zen Buddhism to kill yourself like they done to Pearl Harbor. Think, Islam is a revelation of God and is perfectly a religion with no end but a constant. Islam comes from the revelations of Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Adam, etc. NO ISLAM = NO RELIGION = HELL. Have some respect for Muslims. If any of this offended you I am sorry. Peace....

That's a complete no. Yes, for the past couple of years Islamic radicals have been the source of many terrorist plots, but saying Muslims are all terrorists or will become terrorist and Islam is a religion that promotes this is just another example of racial stereotyping. Terrorism would still exist even if Islam ceased to exist. Anybody or group who uses fear to get what they want (money, power, control, etc.) is a terrorist, so terrorism is not restricted to the Muslim world, It is a world-wide problem. There are some religious extremist (Sp) in southeastern Asia, and many militant groups in various African and South American countries.
Now, I cannot deny the fact their are radicals who link themselves to Islam but these are extremist. So don't go thinking that every Muslim on this planet can make a bomb and kill hundreds of people because that is basically racism.

That is not true. If there were no Muslims there would still be terrorism, it just wouldn't be televised as much. Do you think that all of the robbers, theifs, rapists, murderers, and stockers in America are Muslim. Over 95% of them turn out to be Christian. If those crimes aren't considered terrorism, then I don't know what is. Is it right to say that because all of these crimes in this country are performed by Christians, that all Christians are terrorists? Absolutely not!! What about Timothy McVay bombing that building in the name of Christianity a few years ago? Should all Christians be labeled terrorist because a couple of people are doing something. The people you see in Iraq and Afghanistan blowing up things or people make up not even 5% of the Muslims in the world. There are billions of Muslims in all countries in the world, and your going to judge every single one of them for what only 5% of them are doing!! Think about it!! Don't give into the media's perception of things!!

You did not think this out very well or you would not have asked it. At the same time there would be far less terrorism. As for the fools who call you a racist for asking the question, why is he being racist? It is a fact that Islam breeds terrorist. Islam is a violent religion. Have you heard any of the so called not violent members speak out against any of the attacks? No! That is because they support it. They may not do it themselves but they do support it. It will always be easy to fool the people who can't think for themselves as long as speaking out is considered politically incorrect and racist. Sorry folks but the truth is the truth and to bad for hurt feelings.

i dont think its fair to say that terrorism is the fault of Islam. i mean Mohammed who was a Prophet of God brought the message that there is only one God and He also proclaimed the message of peace. now i think the problem is that the mullas all interpret the Quoran in their own different ways, therefore creating disunity within the religion due to misinterpretation. i guess u could say that terrorism is usually associated with Islam because the islamic leaders have, over time, mislead and misguided the followers, making them go against whatever they themselves 'disliked', so the people who are ignorant due to a lack of any other type of education, simply follow along. i think that the reason for terrorism against america by the Islamic leaders is that they might be afraid of losing their power and wealth and because they disagree with the fact that the U.S is so liberal and powerful...
in conclusion, i think if you were to study the unmodified writings of Mohammed, you would see the true essence and purpose of the religion, and not what some fanatical mullas interpret it as.
and, just so y'all know, im not muslim, i just think its unfair for religions to be jugded in this way... im a Baha'i :)

Terrorism comes in many forms. This great nation we call america was created off of terrorism.Or straight genocide. And the fore fathers of this country were christians.Terrorism comes in many forms. To take away your freedom of thought by keeping you consantly worrying about things that you need to survive in todays world is another form of terrorism. It is all about how you look at it.Because to my aknowledgement christians are the greatest terrorists. They just have different techniques and form of terrorism.Like democracy. You may be free. But it costs money to be free. And even then after aknowledgement you are not free.Mental terrorism. That is the art of war taken to extreme in the wrong direction.

There are plenty of other terrorists in the world, you don't have to look very far than our own back yards (meaning in our own countries) and they are not Muslim. This is a generalized statement. Look to Ireland there has been plenty of terrorism going on. any group that murders for a cause or a particular point of view is a terrorist. They want to install "terror" to the multitude.

terrorist is simply a NAME for an enemy...it doesnt simply go away if you take out the muslims....just think of the cold war era when any enemy of the united states/capitalist system was a communist....whether or not the person was an actual card-carrying member was not really the question...it's just a strategy to keep the "are you with us or against us" grip on us...so, in short, terrorism is a name that demonizes the enemy in the best, most efficient way possible

Wow, how everyone forgotten the Irish Republican Army? There were terrorists before islamic ones, but they didn't kill on such a grand scale. The islamic terrorists have just ripped the headlines away from the others, so they're laying low. Terrorists kill for worldwide attention, and to beat out the islamic ones, they're gonna have to kill on a huge scale.
