He never did mention who he was serving, nor who his father was. Of course, then you never know if he was trying to destroy humanity or save it. He was going against all of God's commandments, even now most Christian's go against the original testament. Some Churches replaced God with Christ. So if Christ was another test of God, that explains all the confusion.

He never admitted to being Good. He never admitted anything. He just was. As illogical as they come to most, but to me he made perfect sense.

He came from God. He never killed anyone but made alot of people mad and violent because of his percepectives from his Father, God.
Now people who are followers of Christ, they believe in what Christ teached from the New Testament. And that they go to Christ before going to God. Um, then again in the Old Testament, there is only One God?

It is Great that you are trying to find out. BUT you do need some lessons in religion. Please read the King James version of the Holy Bible. IT will tell you everything you want and need to know. Jesus is the son of God. He is in the name of the Father , Son and Holy Spirit. There is lots of confusion and it is only caused by not knowing what is accurate. You have an interest, so please go to any church and they will help you. The commandments are wonderful and you and I need to live by them daily. Whatever church you were brought up in , please go back to learn the right way. If you never have had a church of your own, the visit some churches until your heart feels it is the right one. God Loves you and if Ye ask, then Ye shall recieve.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Angels have no longer something of their nature that could lead them to sin. keep in mind that guy replaced into created slightly below the angels, even besides the undeniable fact that we were initially created in God's image. yet Lucifer did sin, and because it went completely hostile to his nature, he won't be able to be forgiven, nor the angels that left Heaven with him, and they are all nonetheless in entire competition to God, no longer in search of forgiveness, and unable to target this anymore than they ought to were in a position to sin contained in the first position. devil will, in the destiny, declare that Jesus is Lord to the respect of God the daddy, besides the undeniable fact that it gained't count number for him any more effective than anybody else who does an similar on that day who did not do it of their lifetime.

Jesus mentions several times that he and the father are one, that makes it very clear who he is serving. He said he came not to destroy but to divide - meaning he wasn't after placation, but after those who wanted truth and that would lead to division from the establishment, he did not go against any of God's commandments but fulfilled all of them, Christians do not live under the Old Testament they live under the New Testament which Christ brought for us as the church, otherwise we would be practicing Jews, and a true church cannot replace God with Christ as they are one, and Christ was not a test of God, but the Son of God, and there is really no confusion, if you but allow the Holy Spirit to lead you instead of your own human mind, as God's ways are above ours and his thoughts are beyond our abilities to comprehend, but through the power of the Holy Spirit, which is also God, we are able to take the Word of God and discern. Sorry you're confused - I don't find any of it to be in the least bit confusing.

In the Bible, Jesus claimed that his father loved everyone. I don't think that describes Satan very well, but this is a theory I haven't heard before, surprisingly.
