My 6 year old son had a finger amputated. His doctor told me to soak his hand in Betadine Solution. I noticed skin around his other finger started peeling. Doctor says its normal. Has anyone else had this problem?

Well the beta is absolutely safe. That's what they spread all over you before surgeries. His hands just be peeling due to lack of moisture. I know when my hand was in cast my fingers got real dry. Ask a pharmacist for some good hand cream. Euceryn works real well.
It is always best to phone the doc for advice though.

If the doctor says it's normal and has looked at it to make sure it is normal, don't worry about it.
