My gf wants to give me caramel streaks on my medium blonde hair and i said that i would let her give me the streaks. So she went out and bought a highlighting kit with a cap and hook but there are no directions. Can someone please explain what she is supposed to do to give me caramel streaks?

Put the cap on your head, pull parts of your hair through, just small sections of it - this will take some time, but it's your appearance, so relax and be patient. After the hair is pulled through the cap that will get highlighted, put the highlighting solution on and wait again for about 20 - 25 minutes, then rinse your hair with the cap on, take it off and use a good conditioner on it.

Pull the hair you want highlighted through the holes in the cap with the hook.. then put the highlighting stuff on.. let it sit for however long then take it off and wash. â¥
ps why do you want highlights..lol

Put the cap on your head, poke the hook CAREFULLY through the little circles and pull a little bit of hair through each circle. Mix up the color, apply to the hair pulled through the cap. Leave on the recommended time (ususally 20 - 25 min) and rinse.

well, if it comes with a streaking comb, dont use the comb, it just messes up the streaks. If you are doing just the top layer of your hair, squirt the hair coloring gue on the selected strans using a squirt bottle. If you are doing multiple layers, just get it done professionally.

just go to a salon and let them do it.
and you both will stay happy with each other.
first it never look good when pulled thew a cap.
and she will have no ideal how long to leave it on and it will be brassy or orange, I have seen this happen more times then I can tell you.
and it will cost you alot of money to fix..

she is supposed to put that funny looking hat on and pull some of your hair through it put the goop on and leave it on for about 10 minutes then wash and condition your hair
