Try to eliminate stress in your life, as this illness is usually caused by stress. Positive thinking is another method of dealing with it. Say this to yourself several times each day.
"God is guiding me now. My body is healing more each day. I radiate love, success, good health and right action to everyone I come in contact with. God's goodness and love indwell in me and wonders are happening in my life. I feel patience and relaxation flowing through my body and I am restored to complete health and happiness."
Repeat this for a couple weeks and positive thinking will restore your health. Whenever negative thinking enters your mind, say "God is guiding me now to perfect health." Good Luck!!

UC is an auto-immune disease. There are lots of different medical approaches, but the only CURE is to remove the entire colon. That is not as bad as it sounds! Your quality of life goes way, way up - no more rushing to the bathroom, no more feeling lousy because you've bled yourself into anemia, no more seeing yourself as a sick person. Yes, you have to have a bag, but it's pretty easy to get used to, and you get your life back!
