you don't need any motivational quotes. Just picture yourself in that two piece bikini you've been dyiing to get into is enough motive. Look around and look at a lot of obese people, you'll find yourself saying i will never let myself go like that. Obesity brings on alot of health issues as well as low self esteem.

If you're wanting to lose weight, you must first take a look at not only what your eating, but when and why.
Do you eat until you're stuff every time you eat? Do you eat when you're anxious, bored, or lonely? Do you have some favorite comfort foods? Do you pay attention to proper nutrition and portion size? Do you drink lots od soda or juice?
go to www.drphil.com and check out some of the weight loss strategies. What are your exercise habits?
You can do this. It will be hard to change your lifestyle, but that's what you have to do. If you follow the dr.phil strategies, you will not have to really give anything up.
You probably got to where you are now because you learned dietary habits from somewhere, and it just stuck. All you have to do is learn some newer, better habits. You will feel so much better in the long run. Don't be discouraged if you have a little setback or two. These things take time, they don't happen overnight, but if you learn new habite, it will last a lifetime....
Subscribe to Fitness Magazine. The models are not all anorexic and surgically enhanced. There are success stories, recipies, exercises, and ideas....you will find it inspirational.
Hope this helps!

join weight watchers and go to the meetings. The people there are motivating and the idea of having to go in once a week for someone to write down your weight makes you work a little harder. Everyone there is going for the same reason and everyone has advice and cheers you on as you lose more! They are also there for you on the "bad weeks" when you don't lose anything. It is somewhat expensive- between 10-15 dollars a week but use the money that you would normally use to buy junk food or fast food. You can go to www.weightwatchers.com for more information and for groups near you. I lost 40 pounds two years ago and have kept it off... even after having 2 more kids I am back down to my goal weight from then. The things you learn in weight watchers will stick with you forever!

Use motivation wisely. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Firstly, when you're ready to lose weight, then you're ready. Not before. Secondly, that motivation needs to come from within (same as the first point I made but different lol).
I'm not saying you're hideous looking so please don't assume that. I assume you're a gorgeous person who wants to change something.
That said, put on your tightest most feral looking outfit - one that shows all the bulges and bits you need to trim down. Take a photo of yourself in that outfit and stick it on the fridge. Also stick a copy on your kitchen cupboard and somewhere near the TV remote and your computer - TV and Computer time are renowned for being the ones where we are most likely to consume unhealthy food without really thinking about what we're eating.
Good luck!

I do not have any pics, but take some of yourself at least twice a month, and compare pics this may help to keep you motivated if you are seeing actual results of your diet plan.It is very important to not try to loose to much too fast, because it is very unhealthy for you.stay away from or cut back on junk and fast foods. It would be okay to have a small slice of pie/or cake once a week.Carbs(bad) sugars and fats is what makes fat build up.and start an exercise program slow at first, then build that up too.I wish you a luck dear.

Go to your closet and find the outfit that does not fit well and/or looks bad. Put it on and take your photo. Get multiple prints made. Tape one to the fridge and wherever you go in your house to workout. Seeing how you look to the world usually will help motivate most people. Good luck.

well lets see i used to be about 205 and i am now down to 120. here is what i did: I made myself get up off my lazy *** and walk i walked three miles a day for five days or five days a week. I would listen to the radio as i did it. I also stopped eating any junk food what so ever and when i bought clothes i would buy them were they were too tight to make me want to fit in them. I was looking at myself everyday telling myself i wanted to live not only for my self but for my family and plus i wanted to be little because everyone in my family was big and didnt care it makes me feel so much better now that i am that weight just know that you are doing it for yourself and not for others.

Visualize yourself as you want to be. Make a sign (or several of them) to hang around your house that will re-affirm what you want, to suggest to your creative mind each day as you see it in passing ("subliminal" mind), e.g. "I KEEP FIT AND TRIM AS A PERMANENT LIFESTYLE CHOICE." This information came from an audio recording on CD by a high achiever in New York City by the name of Charlie Durso, who is in the same business in which I am involved, which is that of promoting and advertising (among hundreds and hundreds of others) products of the Nutrilite brand of vitamin and mineral supplements, the Trim Advantage brand of weight control foods and drinks, and the XS brand of energy drinks, protein and meal-replacement bars.
ESPECIALLY of note, you might want to get ahold of a product called CLA-500. It has conjugated amino acids that facilitate fat loss and muscle gain. Put CLA-500 as a keyword search in the search engine of my personal web site: http://jnelson10.qhealthzone.com.
In addition, you might like to read a book by Shad Helmstetter entitled, What To Say When You Talk To Yourself. It came out in the late 1990's, but I believe it is still in print.
And if that web site (also listed below) interests you as a potential way you might want to earn some income -- subtitute your name on it for mine, for a registration fee of less than $ 58 for a year, contact me at (717) 801-5535 after 5 PM Eastern time. The registration fee would give you a lot more than just the web site, by the way.

Try this: go to Google, click on images and ask for fat women. Print out the most revolting one and hang it on your fridge.
Or you could print a pic of a woman with a shapely body and glue your face over hers. Remind yourself that if you had started eating healthy a year ago, that could be you today!
