I think that conventional weapons should include bombs, but under the rules of your question, I don't think that there is. The only thing that would come close is the GAU-8 "Avenger" rotary cannon carried by the A-10 "Warthog". The gun and ammunition storage is roughly 25 feet long, and each slug is a 30mm round (about 1-1/4" in diameter), and the entire wound (with casing) is about the size of a 20 oz Coke bottle. The round itself is made from tungsten and depleted (no longer radio active) uranium. This cannon is so powerful that, in a dive, if the pilot holds the trigger for more than a couple of seconds, the aircraft will actually stall out (lose lift on the wings) because the recoil will slow it down that much.

While not as spectacular as the two 25mm Vulcan, two 40mm Bofors automatic cannon, and the M102 105mm artillary piece carried by the AC-130U Spectre, pound for pound, the Warthog is just as mean.

I would say the Iowa Class battle ship, when you have that many cannons reigning down on you, you better hide.

Armament: 9 x 16 inch guns, 20 x 5 inch guns, 80 x 40 mm AA guns, 49 x 20 mm AA guns (1983 modification added 32 x Tomahawk and 16 x Harpoon missiles and 4 x Phalanx CIWS)

If it's a tossup between the AC-130 and A-10, I will go with the AC-130. One round per square foot over that wide an area doesn't miss much.

Against a point target, though, the A-10 wins.

indeed...even the "spooky" (AC-130) must pay tribute to the warthog...the A-10 Thunderbolt II is an awesome close support gunship...it's vulcan gun can fire uranium depleted rounds that can cut through a regular tank like a knife in hot butter....
besides It possess a superior (and superb) maneuverability at slow speed, so it can fly closer to ground troops boosting the morale or terrifying the enemies....

Lockheed AC-one hundred thirty Spectre is a heavy gunship (fantastically as maximum different gunships are very gentle plane with heavy armaments), switched over from the airframe of the C-one hundred thirty Hercules (C stands for shipment/transport, mutually as A stands for attack) With its substantial physique, intense tension projection, and comparatively small quantity (generally because of fact of a loss of airframes avalaible; the C-one hundred thirty remains a extremely universal and sturdy transport, meaning a large form of them has to stay unconverted) have enable this flying image of ability gain mythical prestige via the missions it became used at. As for the armaments, yeah, it rather is heavily armed. This flying behemoth consistently consists of 2 40mm L/60 Bofors cannons, alongside with an 105mm M1 Howitzer, the two being waiting to wreak havoc, the 1st via its stable ability projection, and the latter via its uncooked yield. watching the yield, the AC-one hundred thirty could additionally carry a GAU/12 Avenger autocannon or 2 30mm Bushmaster autocannons, alongside with a tail turret on some early variations. presently, initiatives are being held to in effective condition the Spectre with objective-ninety two Stinger air-to-air missiles for self protection, alongside with AGM-114 Hellfire air-to-floor missiles, SLAMs (Standoff Land attack Missiles), and JDAMs (Joint Direct attack Munitions) for stand-off means. you will have a perplexing time looking a single floor-attack plane (no longer heavy bombers) which could carry this form of huge and versatile quantity of munitions.

Arc-light gunships are indeed impressive. A close runner up would be the A-10 warthog. It's vulcan nose gun will vaporize a tank, and it' s silent approach, and precision shooting are chilling.
