Because Yahoo!Answers can - unintentionally feed an OCD - which is why a lot of us are stuck to the computer screen or the TV screen.
Go to the kitchen and get some protein, meat, a can of tuna (salmon is better) or whatever, and eat it. Also have some carbohydrate, like a handful of chips, an apple, or some carrots/celery, and also some nuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and do something else for 30 minutes. You may find your need to answer has lessened a bit.

because you are like any normal human. you would rather do the fun stuff first and put off the important stuff. I used to do that all the time. The best way to get out of that habit is to just start doing things, even when you feel like you'd rather be watching tv, eating cheetos and guzzling energy drink....

well it's a report----boring.
i think the obvious reason would be that you're trying to avoid it, and hold it off unit you just can't, so you're using Answers as an excuse to put it off for a few more minutes, or hours!!

PROCRASTINATION. What is more fun, chatting with complete strangers, or writing a boring report on something?
