I have three kittens 2 are 11 months old siblings and the other is almost 5 months old.
I say its not okay to beat any animal. If you are
doing that why do you have a pet for.You are supposed to treat them with love. Its against the law to mistreat your pet!!!!!!!

i think that trying your cat in a full sized human goal is probably what the problem was

if you made the goal the same size as a mouse-hole then you may find the cat's skills as a goalie vastly improve

yes... I'm pretty sure your cat's emotional stability does not depend on her ability so be competent at soccer. I, like others, was alarmed and thought you mean beat your cat as in physically abuse. That is absolutely not ok.

My cat likes to play soccer with a water balloon. Its really cute...(dont worry, its barely filled up, so he cant break it and get splashed)....He's good, but everyonce in a while, I have to beat him, just to show him I am boss...LOL:)

No. Your cat doesn't understand scoring in soccer. If you're beating her, you're taking advantage.

No, it's not fair to the cat because they can never remember the offsides rule.

well, sure it's ok, but she's probably horrible because the ball is her sizes, and might be a little heavy for her paws to block or kick, so to answer your question, yeah, its ok...i guess..., but you might have a little competion if you had a smaller ball to play with
