It depends on a lot of things, but 1-3 miles with 45 minutes of pilates or yoga should do the trick.

Probably about 5 miles. But the best way to ensure a toned stomach is dancing, pilates and exercises targetting the stomach muscles such as crunches. Running is for over all exercises.

As many as you can handle. Enough to get a good workout but not so much that you feel you're going to keel over. It's different for each person but an athlete should be able to handle a 5-6 mile jog easy.

As an avid runner, I can tell you that there's no real answer to your question--so much depends upon your metabolism and where you tend to carry weight.

All of that said, I would recommend that you run for at least 30 minutes per day four days per week in a way that elevates your heartrate for the entire 30 minutes.

Running is NOT going to keep your stomach in tone...crunches and leg lifts do that. Running is cardiovascular exercise, will keep you lean, but not keep your muscles in great tone. Good luck
