I have a bump or zit like thing on my arm between my elbow and shoulderthat looks like it is capible of coming to a head but I really dont want to have it removed. Does anyone know what it is or how I can get it to pop or go away?

Go see an expert, a dermatologist instead o f asking non professional strangers on the Internet who have no clue what you are talking about and cannot even "see" it. lol All you are going to get here, is ten kind of guesses at what it might be and maybe what to do for it. Not a very good way to get any sound advice is it?

You could try putting a hot wet washcloth on it for a few min. a few times a day and see if that will get it to come to a head. When it does, I would suggest putting a dab of "triple antibiotic" ointment on it (you can get it without a prescription, cheap, at a drugstore) and put a bandaid over it til it finishes healing.

My mother used to tell me to put warm compresses on boils, maybe it will work on your bump.

it might be the beginning of a subaceous cyst...look on the web for that term and compare..
