That may sound ridiculous to some. But it is actually possible. Yo haev to calculate how many calories youburn at your Resting Heart Rate. EVERYTHING you do burns calories. So estimate you burn 1,000 calories during the day but you may consume 1,500 calories. That is why it is safer to just burn 500 calories per work-out. Also, you can easily burn 1,000 additional calries at the gym as well. By riding the Elliptical Trainer and burn 600 calories in about 50 minutes. Then walk or jog on the treadmill for 30 minutes or until you burn 400 calories. I hope this helps.

I think you are missing the point. You don't need to burn 2000 calories. What you need to do is first figure out how many calories per day you actually burn before taking the calories into consideration. Depending on your level of activity you burn a certain amount of calories each day. The average sedentary human burns about 2000 calories each day. So after you figure your calorie burn. Make sure you consume less than that amount and you will lose weight. Simple huh?

That's not how it works. Your body burns over 1000 calories a day just functioning to stay alive and more calories are burned with pretty much whatever you are doing (cleaning, showering, walking etc). Moderate to vigorous exercise burns obviously more calories and then keeps your metabolism rate higher for a few hours following the exercise thus continuing to burn calories faster then if you were at rest.
The amount of calories you need changes day to day depending on your activity level because calories are energy. To lose some weight, cut back 200-300 calories a day and burn 200-300 a day with activity and you will see weight loss.

You can't burn that many calories in one day unless you are competing for some type of competition where you excercise fo rhours on end. Yeah it is true that you must burn more calories than you consume to lose a pound. I think 3500 calories equals one pound. Just make sure you are eating healthy calories and being active every day for at least 30 minutes

Dude, the thing is you have to watch what you consume. I really don't follow that rule too well. I run about one hour a day. Which burns about 600-800 calories, as well as builds muscle which burns calories. The more muscle you have the more calories that are burnt. Also drink plenty of water. Water aids in the digestion/burning of calories.
