Dating is great, just don't take it too seriously or too fast.

I waited almost a six months after my divorce to start dating. I had so many other things to take care of I didn't think I wanted to add more. It is really a personal choice though. I know a lot of people that date before the paperwork is signed. You will know when you are ready.

It is proper to wait at least 2 years before your first date after your break up. This you must do while wearing dark clothing as one would in mourning, for you are indeed mourning the loss of your prior relationship. Oh and Cry till your eyes are well sunken and bloodshot. And you know this is a line of crap right?
Go for it kid! Right now date yourself silly !!!!

When you say "I am single now", I take it that you are divorced. And from the tone of your question, you're not comfortable with dating yet.

Don't do anything you're not comfortable doing. However, do be social. Meet people, be active with a group of your choosing. It might be easier to talk to people on-line, without making any dates for a while. When you're comfortable, then step out.

Meeting new people and getting to know them first is what is important always. When you do meet up with someone who you can trust and there is an open communication between you, then you should do a "Meet and Greet" at a local coffee shop and open up a dialogue with them again to find out whether they are serious about you and are ready to committ to dating you . This will help alot.

Hey well that depends on the circumstances. If you just broken up with someone then it might be better to wait a little bit until you get over them. Otherwise it's just really up to you if you feel like dating then there's nothing wrong with that, but if you don't then there's nothing wrong with that either.

not a lot of info was it a divorce if it was a long relationship its like a divorce you need to get your head together and if it was a bad breakup then you might even want to see a therapist not that there is something wrong with you it's just good to talk to someone that is not a friend or family member.
