I'm on my second year of high school, and there is a girl going into 8th grade that likes me a lot. There already is a girl in my grade that i'm dating, but i'm not sure if I like her like she likes me. The eighth grader and I have a lot in common, but I don't know about the age difference. What should I do?

wow That is a hard decision because High school can be brutal. Look hon you are going to have to Think long and hard about this.. I am not saying stay with your girl but at least think about being on your own awhile. Be friends with the 8th grader. You also have to be careful with your friends parents (8th grader). Even though you have a lot in common parents don't see it that way. They see a 15-16 year old boy talking to a 12-13 year old girl. be careful and good luck to you.

My 12 year old just informed me that his crush is 14!!
So I do not know,but I'd say the maturity level is much different between 8th and 10th grade.I'd keep dating the girl your own age.

shes still in kitty school if you dont like the girl your dating now then break up with her and find someone your age come on rookie! lol but seriously you can be friends with the 8th grader but dont date her!

Man to say truthfully I don't respect when guys from high school are dating with 8 grade or less, but if u think she is so good do it, be a man:)

Second year of high school? You are too old for this girl. Leave her alone. She is too young to date. You are barely ready yourself. Try to talk to girls in your own age group: freshmen or Juniors and leave the little girls alone. You are flirting with legal problems.

well if you dont have feelings with your girlfriend tell her and thats all i can say about that...now the eighth grader tell him you like her because to me it seems like you really like her maybe you should go with your feelings because thats the truth...and age dont really matter is just a number

Well, don't just stay with the girl your age because of your ages. That's pointless.
I say go for the one you have stuff in common with. It may get to the point that your ages get in the way (i.e. you drive and she doesn't, etc.)...but try it out and see.

u look too much like me, if shes one year younger in age go for her, but 8th and 10th, wait for her at least until shes in HS

you should not go out with the eight grader because when you turn eighteen it will be illeagal to do stuff with her any way.if you like her you will wait until she turns eighteen if not there will be other girls playa. pimpin aint easy
